The tablets and granules should be allowed to dissolve slowly under the tongue. Avoid touching them when placing them in your mouth. Leave approximately 30 minutes between taking a homeopathic remedy and eating, drinking or brushing your teeth.  The tablets/pellets may be crushed between 2 spoons for very young children.

Avoid coffee, regular black tea, alcohol, tobacco, spicy foods and any minty substances during and after taking a remedy-- as they can all antidote the remedies. Beware of “hidden” mint in such products as gum, toothpaste, tea, chocolate and ice cream, etc. These products are to be avoided for a specified length of time, which your doctor will specify at the time of your appointment.
